Membership Levels
There are five levels of membership that provide different types of lobbyists the opportunity to participate in NCPLA:
Association, Corporate, and Independent Lobbyists
$150.00 per one year membership
Includes lobbyists who are employed by and for not-for-profit associations; those employed by and for a corporation; and those independent lobbyists who represent associations or corporate clients.
Young Lobbyist Members
$150.00 per one year membership
Includes lobbyists under the age of 40 and with less than 3 years lobbying experience; employed by and for not-for-profit associations; those employed by and for a corporation; and those independent lobbyists who represent associations or corporate clients.
Associate Members
$150.00 per one year membership
Includes business entities or organizations with a direct or indirect interest in the profession of lobbying. Associate members shall not have the right to vote, hold office, or attend meetings designated for members only, but shall retain all other rights and privileges consistent with membership.
State Legislative Liaisons
$150 per one year membership
Includes only state legislative liaisons registered with the Secretary of State.
